CAMP DATES:
Session I: June 10-12, 2009
Session II: June 14-16, 2009
REGISTRATION:
Registration begin January 1, 2009 and ends June 5, 2009.
REGISTRATION FEES:
Overnight campers $280 and Day Campers $240. MasterCard, Visa and personal checks (accepted electronically via our website) will be accepted for payment. Campers may pay the full amount or a deposit of $100, which is non-refundable. All camp fees must be paid in full on or before June 5, 2009. No refund requests will be honored after May 29, 2009.
REGISTRATION REFUND POLICY:
Both the $100 deposit and on-line registration fees are non-refundable. Persons requesting refunds must do so prior to June 5, 2009. Refund requests will be honored the day camp begins or after June 5, 2009. Camp refunds will be mailed within 30 business days after the last camp session. Payments made by credit card will be debited to the account within the same time frame.
CAMP BANK:
Campers may deposit a maximum of $20 into a camp bank to purchase pizza and beverages for a late night snack. Campers will also be able to purchase t-shirts during camp check-out.
Camp Bank Refund Policy
Camp Bank refunds paid in advance will be refunded if requested prior to June 5, 2009. After camp begins, campers must pick up their camp bank funds prior to departing for home. Any remaining funds not picked up during checkout will not be refunded. Camp Bank refunds will be mailed within 30 business days after June 16, 2009. Payments made by credit card will be debited to the account within the same time frame.

Camp Details
CAMP AIMS:
Instruction will include drills and technique work in all areas of offensive and defensive football. It takes expert instruction and hours of practice to become a skilled football player. The staff will give each player personalized attention to help him acquire the skills to develop a better working knowledge of the game.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All boys eight years old to rising high school seniors are eligible. Junior Camp: 8 years old - 14 years old; Senior Camp: 15 years old - 18 years old may participate as long as they have not started their senior year of high school.
LOCATION:
The camp will be conducted on the campus of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, the State Capital. Campers will live in Bates House (a dormitory located close to The Roost). Camp sessions will be held on the spacious grass practice fields behind The Roost and near Williams-Brice Stadium. In case of inclement weather, sessions will be held in the Athletic Indoor Practice Facility directly across from The Roost.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?
Single sheets, blanket, pillow, t-shirts, gym shorts, sweat socks, football shoes, towels, casual clothing for free time, soap and toiletries. Camp will not be responsible for lost items.
ROOMMATES:
Campers will room with a camper within the same age grouping unless requested otherwise by the parent/guardian. There will be 2 campers to a room, and once your roommate is selected there will be no changes except for cancellation.
TEAM DISCOUNTS:
We offer discounts to teams with 5 or more participants from the same school. All applications must be received at the same time for the discount to apply.
5-9 Campers: $10 discount
10-20 Campers: $15 discount
21-30 Campers: $25 discount
31-45 Campers: $45 discount
46 or more Campers: $65 discount
HOUSING AND MEALS:
Campers will be stay in Bates House, and meals will be served in the dorm. Campers will be assessed a $75.00 fee for all lost keys. Campers are responsible for any damage to their room, and violation of dorm rules will result in expulsion from dorm and camp.
TRANSPORTATION:
We will pick up your son from the airport, train or bus station, but we require that you send your son's schedule in writing or by e-mail to our office prior to the week he is to attend camp. Please make reservations to arrive at the Columbia, SC airport, train or bus station. The airport code for Columbia, SC is CAE and Amtrak is CLB. Your son will be dropped off the designated transportation site immediately following the end of camp.
INSURANCE:
Our Athletic Training Staff will be involved in every session to ensure your sons safety; however, if a problem occurs, the parent/guardian will be notified immediately, and the proper medical care provided. All campers will be provided excess insurance coverage, which means Steve Spurrier Carolina Football Camp pays only after your insurance policy has been utilized.

Refund Policy
Refunds are granted by authorized personnel of the Steve Spurrier Football Camp staff. Both the $100 deposit and on-line registration fees are non-refundable. Persons requesting refunds must do so prior to June 5, 2009; no refund requests will be honored after this date. Camp refunds will be mailed within 15 business days after the last camp session. Payments made by credit card will be debited to the account within the same time frame. Any funds remaining in the campers' camp bank account will be refunded within 15 business days after the last camp session.

Directions to Field House
Map to Field House 
From Airport: Turn left onto Highway 302. Go approximately two miles and turn on I-26 East towards Charleston. Bear left onto I-77 North after three miles. Go about four miles and take the Bluff Road exit. Turn left onto Bluff Road and the stadium is three miles down on your right. Turn right on to George Rogers Blvd. George Rogers Blvd becomes Assembly St. Proceed about 1.5 miles and turn right on Whaley St (there is a subway restaurant on the corner where you turn). The Field house is located on the right, across from Bates House dorm.
From I-20 (Heading East): Take U.S. 1 (exit 58) into Columbia. Turn right on Assembly Street. Turn left on Whaley St. (there is a subway restaurant on the corner where you turn). The Field house is located on the right across from Bates House dorm.
From I-20 (Heading West): Take exit 76 (I-77 South) towards Charleston. Follow road 10 miles and take the Bluff Road Exit. Make a right onto Bluff Road and the stadium is three miles down on your right. Turn right on George Rogers Blvd. George Rogers Blvd becomes Assembly St. Turn right on Whaley St. The Field house is located on the right across from Bates House dorm.

Kicking and Punting Mini Camp
Date: June 13, 2009
Cost: Kicking Camp $100 per person, Long Snappers $50 per person (both are non-refundable)
Campers: Rising 7th graders to rising high school seniors
Purpose: The Steve Spurrier Kicking Camp along with RWKS KICKING is designed to coach punters and place kickers at the high school level. You will receive the expert coaching necessary to improve your skills as a specialist. The objective of the camp is to develop accurate explosive and consistent kickers and punters. Since 2001, RWKS has been recognized by some of the most respected coaches in the nation. The strategic and effective training methods of RWKS continue to be successful with our athletes.
