A native of Louisville, Ky., Danny Cobble completed his undergraduate degree in athletic training at the University of Kentucky, where he worked in the high school outreach program and served as an athletic trainer at Bryan Station High School. He received his master's from the University of South Carolina, gaining experience working with the Gamecock football and men's tennis teams before spending his second year as the athletic trainer at Columbia High School.
Cobble currently serves as the assistant athletic trainer for the football team and mentors the certified graduate assistant athletic trainer for the national champion equestrian team. He is married to the former Misha Hollingsworth and they have one child, Malanni, and live in Columbia.
