Ron McGinty is in his sixth year as assistant cheerleading coach at South Carolina. A native of Laurens, S.C., and an 11-year veteran with the Universal Cheerleaders Association, McGinty has coached for five nationally-ranked seasons at USC. McGinty earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Bachelor of Science in social studies from Presbyterian College while participating on the PC cheerleading team. McGinty has earned his National Board Certification as a teacher. McGinty lives with his wife, Lori Beth Lee, in Columbia. |
