Led by two of USC's rising sophomores, the final night of basketball in the Dominican Republic was the best of all, as the Score International College Stars played against the Dominican National Team. The USA Score International team defeated the Dominican National team 89-83 and finished its tour 4-0.

USC¹s Brandon Wallace led the USA team with 18 rebounds and scored 11 points to USC guard Tre' Kelley¹s seven points and seven assists.

The game was played in the Sports Arena where the Pan American games were played last year before the largest crowd of the week, and was broadcast over the country's sports channel.

The USA college stars jumped out to an early 12 point lead in the first quarter with a 7-0 run with the shooting of Shawan Robinson of Clemson University , who made 2 three point FG's and 1 two point FG and the rebounding of Brandon Wallace of the University of South Carolina, only to have the Dominican National's put together an 8-0 run, as the US college stars led at the end of the frist quarter 25-19.

The second quarter saw Michael Campbell of Mississippi State University come alive with his rebounding and scoring 8 points to give the US Stars a 6 point lead at the half time lead. Michael Campbell continued his torrid pace with 10 points in the third quarter, but the Dominican National outscored the US Stars 22-18 and cut the lead to 2 points, 65-63.

The Dominican National team took its first lead in the game at 73-71 with 2:49 left in the fourth quarter. But the US stars recaptured the lead and built a 7 point lead and held on to win by hitting on 8 of it's last 10 free throws. The final score was the Score International All Stars 89 and the Dominican Nationals 83. Michael Campbell of Mississippi State led all scorers with 28 points, and Brandon Wallace of South Carolina was the leading rebounder with 18 and scored 11 points. Michael Joiner of Florida State had 14 points and Shawan Robinson of Clemson added 13 points.

The teams left Saturday for their return trip the United States.
