HIGH SCHOOL: Rushed for over 1,500 yards in each of his final two seasons at Edward H. White High School, helping his team to a pair of state playoff appearances... led the state of Florida in rushing during his senior campaign of 2006 for Coach Terry Gilliam... had 1,703 yards rushing and 16 TDs as a senior... earned second-team all-state honors... received a three-star rating, was considered the 41st-best running back in the nation and listed as the No. 70 player in the state of Florida by Rivals.com... ranked as the 67th-best player in the state of Florida by SuperPrep and was a three-star prospect and the nation's 49th-best running back by Scout.com... also competed in track & field... turned down offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Clemson, West Virginia, Louisville and Nebraska to sign with Carolina in 2007. |
