COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina Athletics Department will host a Pregame Pep Rally on Wed., Nov. 19, at Colonial Life Arena prior to the women's basketball game against Clemson. The student gate opens at 5:30 p.m., and the first 200 students will receive a voucher for a free Beat Clemson t-shirt, which will be distributed at halftime. Free food and drinks will be provided, and tipoff is at 7 p.m.

There will be games, prizes and giveaways. Students will have the chance to win basketball gear, iPods, autographed items and one lucky student will win a semester of text books ($300 voucher).

This event is presented by Pointe West Apartments.

Also on Wednesday, the Mascot Basketball Game will take place at halftime. Scheduled to appear with Cocky are Zig the Pig (Children's Chance), Rufus (Charlotte Bobcats), Freddie Falcon (Atlanta Falcons), Sir Purr (Carolina Panthers), Happy Tooth (Family Dental) and Plexter (The Plex).
