COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Lindsay Walker from the South Carolina softball team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

The shortstop cleared the bases with a three-RBI triple to cap the comeback win over Auburn in game two of a doubleheader Sunday. She also doubled home a run in Carolina's 6-3 win at Winthrop.

For the week, Walker batted .500 with four RBI. She had a pair of two-hit games on the week and another with two sacrifices.

Since moving into the second spot in the order, Walker's hit .333 with three runs scored and four RBI, and the team has gone 6-0. She also leads the team with six sacrifices.
