COLUMBIA, S.C.- The South Carolina Women's Cross Country team will travel to Palmetto State rival Clemson on Saturday, Oct. 6 to compete in the Clemson Invitational. The women are scheduled to start their 6K race at 9:30 a.m.

Saturday's meet marks the first time this season that the Gamecocks will be competing against a Southeastern Conference opponent. Making up the field are SEC foes Alabama and Georgia; along with Charlotte, College of Charleston, South Carolina State, Western Carolina, and host Clemson.
